For each Outlook email that is synchronized, a dialog box will pop-up to remind "Please sync contacts after linking email".

Some users have 1,000 or more emails daily, so this pop-up reminder slows down the synchronization, as user have to wait for the pop-up to open and then click OK, before it proceeds to the next email.

Can this reminder be done away with?

In the Outlook Link configuration settings it is possible to set "Auto link emails for contacts NOT synced from CRM" to Always. In this case every email arriving in Outlook where the email addresss is not linked to a contact in RedHorse will be synched to RedHorse and a new contact record will be created. If this is the desired outcome then the prompt to sync Contacts is appropriate as those new contacts created in CRM would need to be synched back to Outlook.

This behavaior is made possible in the link to Outlook but as a 'best practice' most people choose not to turn the setting on in order to prevent polution of their CRM contact list with unsolicited emails and contacts. Any email that IS important to the users business can be linked to CRM on an individual basis. In this case the user will get the reminder to sync Contacts. There is no way to disable the reminder.
