Yes, have tried limiting the template to the Quote module too. However, when this was done, when running Document merge within the QuoteParts tab, the template is not available in the drop down list. After expanding the scope to make the template available to the contact module as well, the template is then available as a choice. However, still cannot do a document merge, the same error occurs.
The same quote template works in this scenario;
- login as adminstrator
- open the quote->Reports tab
- select the template and then view / print
ie. do not even need to run document merge.
The administrator can run this template for any user's quotation.
However, giving the sale user adminstrator rights does not work in this case.
