I have deployed and imported the SQL reports. For the sales group;

-assigned the Quote report
-grant edit rights to the quote module
-grant rights to the Sell quotes module
However, user cannot view any reports in the Reports tab.

After tweaking around other user settings, I discovered that only by putting the user in the Administrator group, he is able to view the Quote report as well as other reports.

Yes, done all that. Including logging out user and logging in after changing the rights. No reports display in the Reports tab; user-group has several reports assigned.

The Quote report display in three situations;

- when the Quote report is set as the default report for "sold verification"; upon marked as sold, this report is generated, even if if does not display in the Reports tab
- in the user settings, the over-ride is enabled for the Quote report
- the user belongs to the Administrator group
