RedHorse Systems has released v4.0 of RedHorseCRM on October 31, 2011.

Enhancements and new features in v4.0 include:

• New indexes for faster performance 
• New Workflow actions 
• New Email Rules to expand automated email actions 
• Custom dashboard color palette 
• New grids in the dashboard for drill-down 
• Record survey results from a web page 
• Expanded Excel import

There are a number of database structure changes in this release of RedHorse that we would like to make you aware of. We have added a number of new fields to the database and restructured additional contacts to speed performance.

One affect of the structure change is the addition of new PContRecid and AContRecid fields in several tables. The new fields will appear for all users in several of the grids in RedHorse. In order to turn these fields off, simply click the "Field Chooser" button at the top left corner of a grid and uncheck the field. We are unable to do this for you during the upgrade and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Additionally, we have implemented new security on the Filters and Groups window. When opening this window after the update, all users will see a blank window with no tabs. It is necessary to edit each user to give permission to see the tabs. In the Admin center, open a user, go to Tabs, go to Filter Tabs, select the appropriate tabs to make them visible.

Finally, if you have implemented any custom SQL development (stored procedures or triggers), reports or other customizations, we recommend you contact your reseller before updating as these changes may affect your customizations.
